Vehicle Mechanic - Halewood

Immediate starts

Our client are looking for an experienced or qualified Vehicle Mechanic to work at their site in Halewood offering fantastic training opportunities for the right candidate. If you are interested in becoming a part of a world class team supporting the latest prestige vehicle launches, we are interested in hearing from you.


  • Maintenance, service, and repair of non/electric vehicles.
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
  • Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars.
  • Maintain records of time, expenses and materials.
  • Master diagnostic processes and associated tools.
  • Help maintain cleanliness of vehicles and site.
  • Support entry-level technicians as needed.


  • Methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles including testing, diagnosis, HVAC service, hydraulic, brakes, testing and repair of electronic systems and modules.
  • Operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment.
  • Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience - preferred
  • Relevant experience in a dealership environment OR extensive experience in the automotive industry.
  • Hybrid Experience a plus.
  • Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as an automotive technician.

You must be flexible to work rotating, two weeks on day shift and two weeks on night shifts. Competitive pay rates are available from £14.00 p/h days to £17.50 p/ nights - overtime is up to £18.62 p/h.
