Talent and Recruitment Manager - Manchester

£40,000 p/a - £55,000 OTE

 

Start People Ltd is a rapidly growing specialist recruitment business with offices in Manchester, Durham and Birmingham.


The business is seeking to add a key role to the Leadership Team. We are looking for a proven, high energy, creative and results orientated leader who is experienced in developing and executing an effective talent acquisition strategy.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the talent attraction and development in order to fuel the next steps in the business’ growth.
 

Previous experience in the Recruitment industry is a strong advantage but not essential. Likewise experience of talent attraction and talent development in a similar position is also a strong advantage.

The role will involve working with the directors to develop the strategy. This will include the following:

  • Talent attraction strategy including routes to market, resources, budget and timetable.
  • Brand development and project into the candidate market.
  • Target audiences of both experienced recruiters and recruitment managers as well as candidates for two trainee consultant intakes through the year.
  • Development of social voice and media presence of the business
  • Maintenance of the company website and the composition and broadcasting of appropriate content
  • The positioning and development of the company benefits package
  • The development of the existing training tools, resources and facilities.
  • The management of the company social diary researching and budgeting for monthly incentive activities, team building and the annual winners trip.


Salary up to £40,000 pa depending on experience with a car allowance, quarterly and annual bonuses to an OTE of £55,000pa. As a Leadership Team role this will be open to share ownership opportunities after a qualifying period.

Hours Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm. Travel will be required up to 15% of the time. Working outside of normal office hours will be necessary so flexible working arrangements will be discussed.
