Quality Manager


The Quality Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality Operating System for the Site operation. They will manage the Operations Support team and provide support and direction to the wider site operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality operating system – development, deployment and training on SharePoint

  • Internal and external audit conformance including TS16949, ISO9001 and GM GMS

  • Develop and maintain zero faults forward processes for the Site

  • Working with the Operations Support team to identify and utilise new quality systems and techniques

  • Develop the quality strategy that underpins the company as  the supplier of choice

  • Understand and be able to apply all relevant TS16949 and ISO9001 standards

  • Support Health & Safety department to implement safety process changes/maintain safety standards across Site

  • Management of all aspects of change control throughout the different departments on Site

Particular emphasis will be placed on the following:          

  • Leading the development and the implementation of the Quality operating system within the Site operations

  • Lead the training and development of the Operations Support team to improve competence

  • Lead process adherence through confirmation

  • Lead robust and timely process for problem resolution

  • Development of robust Quality KPIs across all contracts and departments on Site

    Person Specification:

    HNC in a relative discipline (or equivalent)

    2nd Tier supplier Quality Background, PSW, PPAP and APQP; Auditing (Lead) skills in relation to TS16949 and ISO014001

    Held a QM role within 1st/2nd tier supplier into an OEM

    Led and managed a quality team within 1st/2nd tier supplier into an OEM;
