Due to continued growth and expansion my client is looking for Welders and fabricators to join their team.    Successful candidates will report into Team Leaders and Shift Managers.

The job role:
Ensuring targets are achieved on a daily basis
Working to works order instructions and ensuring works order discipline
Basic JIG and fixture MIG welding on mild steel, ranging from 3mm up to 10mm in thickness to scheduled workloads
Working as part of a team and implementing improvement ideas
Ensuring high levels of health & safety and housekeeping are met
Being flexible and being able to respond to changing demands on customer and weld priorities
Ensuring documentation is readily available for jobs, when set, and line samples available
The job is predominantly batch work and you may also be responsible for basic conventional machining, grinding, dressing & fettling

The Candidate
Ideally you will be a time-served welder
The ability to read and work directly from engineering drawings would be a distinct advantage
You will be required to complete a practical test before starting work
Previous welding experience is preferred but not essential
Ability to work well under pressure
Good problem solving skills
Self-motivated
Ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent flexibility
Good written, numerical and PC skills

This role does involve working shift patterns of Day and backs and candidates must be flexible to this. 

Permanant Contracts will be offered to suitable candidates after a 12 week probationary period.
