My client has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Grinding Engineer to join their successful team.

You will be part of a fast paced team, responsible for maintaining, improving and implementing new processes.

 

 

Can you demonstrate?

•              Experience in 3, 5 and 7 axis grinding machinery

•              Experience in defining, developing and maintaining grinding processes of high tolerance components.

•              Experience of developing grinding processes. (Ideally this will be in a Makino environment)

•              Experience in the use of on machine probing, adaptive grinding and how this can used to ensure product and process conformance.

•              Working knowledge of the use of CAD / CAM systems ideally Siemens UG.

•              Experience in the use of EasyGrind grinding programming software

•              Experience of qualifying new grinding machinery and introducing these into a manufacturing environment.

•              Six Sigma Green or Black Belt accreditation.

•              Knowledge and understanding of process control and problem investigation tools (PFMEAs, control plans, RCA, 7 step, 5 whys etc.).

 

We offer a package of up to £45k basic salary (DOE) , permanent day shifts, 25 days holidays and a strong overtime package.
