THE ROLE

Covering a designated territory within the North East region, your primary role is to attend pre-qualified appointments arranged by the telesales team as well as prospecting for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest with potential clients. You will use carefully planned, persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

You must be able to develop a rapport with new clients, as well as grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

You will be expected to develop a thorough knowledge of the market including services provided by the company and their competitors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect potential new clients within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Present a professional image at all times.
  • Provide customers with detailed price and quality information.
  • Track and record activity on accounts in order to close deals and meet targets.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurately entered on the company sales management system.
  • Understand the company goals and purpose to continually enhance performance.
  • Resolve customer queries politely and efficiently within service levels.
  • Liaise with the management team to ensure that the best possible service is provided to all customers.
  • Visit current customers on a regular basis to assess their ongoing needs.
  • To undertake any training as deemed necessary by the company.
