Start people Ltd are currently working with an industry leading skills Software Company who are looking to recruit a Customer Support Consultant to their growing team, enhancing their after sales support service.

You will ideally be from an education or training background, with a sound understanding how children learn to read.  You should possess excellent IT skills as the role involves providing live on-line software training and basic technical support to customers (full training will be given). Please note this is not a technical support role - your primary focus is to support implementation and usage of the software by pro-actively reaching out to existing customers.

It is essential that you can demonstrate both a passion for Customer Service as well as developing and nurturing relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and increase usage of software within schools
  • Provide online support to schools (Primary and Secondary)
  • Maintain accurate records on the CRM
  • Provide timely feedback to line management

What you’ll need:

  • Ability to be adaptable in order to meet the demands of this developing role.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent ICT skills – Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint
  • GCSE Grade C or higher in Maths and English.
  • Required to take holidays out of school term time.
  • Pass a DBS check as working with school data

In addition, if you have the following then we definitely want to hear from you:

  • Training experience and or teaching/classroom experience
  • Knowledge and experience in how children learn to read.
  • Experience with web conference presentations/training.
  • Own car with a full driving license as on occasion you may be required to work offsite

In return you will receive a basic salary of £20,000 + Company pension and other additional benefits including enhanced holiday allowance, healthcare and discounts.  All of this is on top of working alongside some fantastic people in a state of the art office with amazing views!
